Prescription Requirements

How The Process Works:

Step 1) We will check if your order for insulin needs/insulin pen needles requires a prescription. We will contact you by the contact method you provided in the checkout process if a prescription is required.

Step 2) If a prescription is required, please submit a copy of your valid prescription by email or website contact form. You may email the rx copy to rxinsulin@diabetesandmedical.com.

Step 3) We'll verify the prescription and if it meets the legal requirements, we'll ship out the insulin/insulin pen needs along with any other items in the order.

CT, ME, NJ, NY:  Yes, a valid prescription is required for shipping more than 10 syringes into these states. We will need a proof of prescription before we can ship >10 syringes into these states.

Illinois: Yes, a valid prescription is required for shipping more than 20 syringes into these states. We will need a proof of prescription before we can ship >10 syringes into these states.

Delaware, US Virgin Islands: Yes, a valid prescription is required in order to ship any insulin syringes into this state/US territory. We will need proof of a valid prescription before we can ship the syringes out.

Florida (Monroe, Broward, Miami-Dade Counties): Yes, a valid prescription is required in order to ship any insulin syringes into these state counties. We will need proof of a valid prescription before we can ship the syringes out.

State Rx Required for Insulin Pen Needles by US State

CT, NY:  Yes, a valid prescription is required for shipping pen needles into these states. We will need a proof of prescription before we can ship any amount of pen needles into these states.
